I went back to Denmark to see my family with the kids when they were 4. My husband was working and couldn’t join us so I was flying as a solo-mum on this trip which included two plane rides and 4 long car journeys, something that would be enough to make any parent of toddlers shiver. But for this holiday, I had what turned out to be a secret weapon against fighting in the back seat, kids running in different directions in the airport and tantrums on the plane!
I had been given two suitcases and two backpacks to review by Cuties and Pals and the magic began when it became time to pack… the kids wanted to help, they wanted to arrange and take part – they LOVED their Cuties and just having them made the beginning stages of our trip so much fun.
The bit about travelling with the kids I dislike the most, is the airport part. As soon as we enter the airport, somehow the kids always become completely impossible, don’t want to wait in line, just wants to run around like little crazy people… but not so this time. They were SO excited to be in charge of their Cuties, they LOVED the comments they got from our fellow travellers at the airport, they walked perfectly, wanted to be all grown up. It was fabulous!
On the planes and for the car rides, they had their backpacks with them and in there they had toys, snacks and drinks and this kept them happy, of course.
I didn’t think the Cuties and Pals products would be anything other than an incredibly cute accessory, if I’m honest, but they were so much more and we’re now never going on any trip or holiday without them.. they’re my secret weapon.
AND they’re incredibly well made and sturdy and I know they will last us a long time and many, many trips.
